Tenerife - 21.03.2008 - The pair were part of an party of ten on an organised dive to explore the seabed and caves in the area but failed to resurface with their colleagues. One of the divers is a Civil Guard officer aged 46 and the other a Belgian national who lives in Arona. Their colleagues raised the alarm when they had still not appeared 80 minutes after they had gone into the water. Search teams backed by a helicopter spent most of Thursday combing the waters in the area without success.
